Hazrat Meer Abdus Samad Khudanuma Qaadri (Rahmatullahi Alaih) was a renowned Sufi saint, revered for his deep spirituality and the transformative impact he had on his followers. He was a devoted disciple (mureed) and spiritual successor (khalifa) of Hazrat Khwaja Shaah Hidaayatullah Qaadri (Rahmatullahi Alaih). Hazrat Meer Abdus Samad was not only deeply learned in the spiritual sciences but also a guiding light for those seeking closeness to Allah (ta'ala). His teachings emphasized devotion, self-discipline, and the importance of sincere worship (ibadat) and rigorous spiritual practice (riyaazat). One of the most striking aspects of Hazrat's spiritual journey was his ability to bring his disciples closer to the Divine. It is said that when someone approached him for initiation (bai?at), he would guide them toward intensive worship and spiritual exercises as a preparation for the sacred pledge. After completing this preparatory phase, when he finally accepted them as disciples, they would often experience a profound spiritual vision. That very night, the new disciple would witness a divine illumination (tajalli) in their dreams, reflecting the manifestation of Allah (ta'ala). This miraculous occurrence earned Hazrat the title "Khudanuma," meaning "one who reveals Allah?s radiance." Hazrat Meer Abdus Samad Khudanuma Qaadri?s legacy was carried forward by his esteemed disciple and spiritual successor, Hazrat Sayyed Abdur Razzaaq Qaadri Banswi (Rahmatullahi Alaih), who upheld the teachings and spiritual lineage of his master. Hazrat Meer Abdus Samad?s dedication to spreading the light of Sufism and guiding individuals toward Allah made him a pillar of spiritual strength and a beacon of hope for all who sought his guidance. The saint departed from this world on the 4th of Jamaadi-ul-Awwal, leaving behind a legacy of divine wisdom and spiritual enlightenment. His final resting place is at Lal Darwaza in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. His dargah (mausoleum) remains a sacred site where devotees from all walks of life come to seek blessings, solace, and spiritual inspiration. The serene atmosphere of the dargah, combined with the saint?s profound spiritual aura, continues to provide peace to countless visitors, ensuring that Hazrat Meer Abdus Samad Khudanuma?s legacy remains eternal.
