His profound spiritual journey and accomplishments earned him great respect, and it was largely due to Shah Qadri?s influence that Hazrat Ruknuddin made the decision to give up non-vegetarian food. A remarkable event took place after Hazrat Ruknuddin?s passing: it became a rule that no one could visit his shrine after consuming non-vegetarian food, a mark of respect and adherence to his spiritual legacy. Another significant event in the history of the shrine occurred when Khwaja Banda Nawaz Gesu Daraaz, a renowned Sufi saint, visited Harzat Shah Ruknuddin's shrine. Upon seeing Hazrat Ruknuddin, Khwaja Banda Nawaz remarked, "Your worship is more than mine by one tola," a statement that emphasized the immense spiritual stature of Hazrat Ruknuddin. This statement led to the saint being affectionately known as Hazrat Shah Ruknuddin Tola. The Dargah, unlike many other religious sites, is open to all individuals, irrespective of their religious backgrounds. There are no restrictions based on one?s faith, reinforcing the inclusive nature of the shrine and its message of unity, love, and devotion. Visitors from different communities come to seek blessings, and the Dargah continues to stand as a symbol of peace and spiritual harmony.
