Dargah Hazrat Maqdoom Alauddin Ansari R.A (Aland Shareef) is indeed located in Aland, a town in the Karnataka state of India. This revered shrine is dedicated to Hazrat Khwaja Alauddin Ansari R.A, a prominent Sufi saint and spiritual leader. The Dargah is considered a place of great spiritual significance, attracting devotees from various parts of India and beyond.
The Dargah Hazrat Maqdoom Alauddin Ansari R.A (Aland Shareef) honors the life and legacy of Hazrat Khwaja Alauddin Ansari (R.A.), a revered Sufi saint and spiritual figure born in 1320 C.E. in the vicinity of Old Delhi. His noble lineage traces back to Hazrat Abu Ayyub Ansari (R.A.), a close companion of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), and Hazrat Khwaja Abdullah Ansari (R.A.), a prominent Persian Sufi. The title "Ladle Mashaikh" was bestowed upon him during his childhood, after an incident in which Hazrat Hasanuddin Naqshabandi (R.A.) referred to him as "beloved of the saints." This prophetic acknowledgment foreshadowed his extraordinary role in the spiritual community. A significant prophecy from his paternal grandfather, Hazrat Tajuddin Ansari (R.A.), declared him to be a future Qutb (a saint of high rank). Following his early education in Delhi and Daulatabad, Hazrat Alauddin Ansari (R.A.) sought a spiritual teacher and became a disciple of Hazrat Peer Naseeruddin Chirag-e-Delhi (R.A.), later becoming a Khalifa (spiritual successor). His migration to the Deccan region began in 1360 C.E. and played a crucial role in spreading spiritual knowledge, justice, love, and peace. His journey led him to Gulbarga, where he was warmly received and eventually settled in Aland, where he lived for 22 years and continued to guide many towards the path of righteousness. Hazrat Alauddin Ansari (R.A.) passed away in 1381 C.E. at the age of 63, after living a life of spiritual dedication, leaving behind a legacy that continues to inspire generations. His tomb, along with those of his appointed successors and spiritual family, remains a place of spiritual significance and reverence at the Dargah Hazrat Maqdoom Alauddin Ansari R.A.
