Historical & Religious Significance The "Twin" Saints: The name "Irattai Masthan" translates to "Twin Masthans" (Sufi mystics). The Dargah is dedicated to two Muslim mystics who were contemporaries and close associates of the famous Hindu saint Sri Sadasiva Brahmendra. A Symbol of Unity: Local tradition holds that these two individuals were simple men who attained a high spiritual state (becoming Jivanmuktas) after being blessed by Sadasiva Brahmendra.
